Residency: Tankwa Karoo Artscape (2020)

 On my second visit to the Tankwa Karoo I focussed on 'seeing' the desert.

Whereas the year before I was listening and 'heard', this year I spent an entire night sitting in the middle of the black stone desert as a witness to her beauty.
This 'vigil' was a collaboration between my partner, Colin Campbell, and I.
